Artist Statement

As a multidisciplinary artist, my work transcends traditional boundaries through immersive storytelling, merging visual art and installation into experiences that leave a lasting impact. My practice is driven by an exploration of the simplicity of light, the complexities of the ordinary, and our relationship with ourselves.

I draw inspiration from the world around me—nature’s intricate patterns, urban landscapes, and the personal connections that arise throughout my creative process. My recent project, “Stuck Between,” combines expressive poetry, personal experiences, and photography to reflect the hardships of feeling trapped between right and wrong, as well as the uncertainty of when something will be deemed worthwhile. Through writing, I translate feelings and emotions into a dialogue that allows readers to feel seen and less alone during their personal struggles.

Collaboration has been a highlight of my artistic journey. I believe art is meant to be shared, evoking deeper meaning and connections that nurture our world. My most challenging artistic endeavor thus far has been my role as a tattoo apprentice, which has allowed me to connect with audiences in profound ways. This experience has given me the privilege of imprinting my art permanently on another’s skin, teaching me invaluable lessons about myself and opening pathways to share my work in ways I had never imagined.

I grapple with concepts of time and nostalgia, often utilizing mixed media and photography to weave personal stories into broader narratives. I strive to create works that resonate on multiple levels, inviting viewers to reflect on their own experiences while challenging societal norms.

My ultimate goal is to create spaces where art becomes a catalyst for dialogue and introspection. I aspire to evoke emotions and spark conversations that linger long after the experience, encouraging a deeper understanding of ourselves and our environment. As I continue to explore new mediums and ideas, I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead in my artistic journey.
